Very early apple in the valley of the central reaches of the Amurdar'ya
A detailed description is given of a small-fruited form of the local Turkmen variety Dzhovzapazek-alma, a derivative of the polymorphic species Malus sieversii, which is considered of potential breeding value owing to its earliness, regular bearing, heat resistance and salt tolerance.
