Vineyard establishment by specialized groups on cooperative farms

, : Vineyard establishment by specialized groups on cooperative farms. Kertgazdasag 17(3): 87-90

Reconstruction of old vineyards led to the development of specialized units on Hungarian cooperative farms which are run by cooperative members using private assets. This type of practice, a privately owned concern with production integrated into a large farm, is examined. Land is offered for rent and a contract drawn up for the leasing period. A contribution from each interested member is collected at the beginning of the lease and machinery required by the vineyard purchased.
