Virulence analysis of local populations of Puccinia striiformis f.sp. tritici

, : Virulence analysis of local populations of Puccinia striiformis f.sp. tritici. Cereal Rusts Bulletin 13(2): 11-15

In a study of 88 isolates of wheat yellow rust from 6 locations in England and Scotland, all those obtained from 4 of the locations were classified as race 41 E 136. Samples from the other 2 locations were heterogeneous. The distribution of races 41 E 136 and 108 E 141 at one of these locations was related to the cultivar sampled and isolates from the same cultivar were always homogeneous.
