Virulence factors in strains of Escherichia coli isolated from mastitic milk from agalactic sows


, : Virulence factors in strains of Escherichia coli isolated from mastitic milk from agalactic sows. Proceedings of the 8th International Pig Veterinary Society Congress: 286

Milk samples were collected from 40 sows with agalactia and from 53 healthy sows. Escherichia coli was detected in milk from 85% of sows with clinical signs of agalactia and from 26% of apparently healthy sows.
