, : Vitamin A, retinol-binding protein, prealbumin, carotene, total and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol in plasma of women with cervical dysplasia. Bollettino della Societa Italiana di Biologia Sperimentale 61(2): 295-301

In 19 women, 24 to 55 years old, with cervical dysplasia mean vitamin A and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol in plasma, 36.5 mu g and 42.0 mg/100 ml, were significantly lower than values for healthy controls. Total cholesterol, 230.0 mg/100 ml, was greater. Vitamin A was significantly related to retinol-binding protein and prealbumin.
