Yield of spring wheat and seed biological characteristics in relation to soil density under conditions of forest-steppe leached chernozem soils

Spring wheat grown on soil with a density of 1.1-1.2 g/cmsuperscript 3 gave the highest grain yields and produced seeds with best yielding ability and growing qualities; values for these characters decreased with higher or lower soil densities.
