Yield performance, average tuber weight, tuber number and plant height of four potato (Solanum tuberosum) cultivars over three years

In field trials at San Jose de las Lajas in 1978-81, performance of potato (a) Mirka and (b) Vittorini was compared with that of the standard (c) Desiree and (b) Red Pontiac when grown 25 cm apart with 90 cm between rows. Av. tuber weight, tuber number and plant height were significantly correlated with tuber yield.
