Allometric growth was studied in fixed and mounted specimens of 30 male and 30 female N. golvani from the intestines of cichlid and other freshwater fishes from Tabasco state, Mexico. Regression analyses and allometric coefficients for body, proboscis, hook and receptacle lengths are given. The validity of N. golvani as a species distinct from N. limi, N. paraguayensis, N. pungitius and N. pterodoridis is confirmed.
