Assessment of forest-fire zones by airborne colour infrared remote sensing

Assessment of forest-fire zones by airborne colour infrared remote sensing

Photo Interpretation: Images Aeriennes et Spatiales (85-5): 27-34

Data for the Tanneron massif, SE France, showed that: forest fires spread independently from the topography and were not halted by roads; and air photographs were accurate enough for insurance purposes and for investigating causes and exacerbation of forest fires.
