Assessment of the diagnostic fasting test in patients with bronchial asthma

Klinicheskaya Meditsina 65(12): 49-52

Of 35 patients, 16 to 53 years old, given a diagnostic fasting test lasting 3 to 7 days for bronchial asthma 22 showed a positive reaction with disappearance of attacks and coughing, absence of requirement for broncholytic preparations and normalization of auscultatory picture of the lungs. There was an improvement of values of external respiratory function, estimated on the 1st and last days of the test, at all levels of the bronchial system.
