Association and path analysis in huskless barley under different cropping conditions

Days to 75% heading had the maximum direct effect on yield at the genotypic level and number of ears per plant at the phenotypic level in 11 varieties under irrigated conditions. In rainfed conditions, ear length, number of ears per plant, days to 75% maturity, number of spikelets per spike and number of grains per spike exerted a direct effect on yield at the genotypic level while number of ears per plant and number of grains per spike had the greatest effect at the phenotypic level.
