Association of grain yield with other characters in segregation generation of upland paddy

Association study in F4 population of a cross K 35.3 .times. K-184 was studied. Grain yield was positively correlated with plant height, flag leaf length, number of ear bearing tillers/plant, panicle weight, grain/panicle and grain weight. Grain yield did not show any correlation with panicle length.
