Association of growth parameters with days to half-bloom in the parental lines of a few sorghum hybrids

Correlations between days to 50% flowering and plant height, number of leaves, culm diameter and fourth leaf area were calculated for 5 inbreds. Days to 50% flowering showed significant positive correlation with all these characters in IS3541, and with plant height in ms 2077A and ms 296A, but with none of them in ms 2219A.
