Association of some morphological characters to grain yield in durum wheat under Mediterranean dryland conditions

A field study of yield/ha, peduncle length and 4 yield-related and morphological characters in 20 lines revealed that those selected for high peduncle length were significantly superior to unselected lines with respect to yield, tillering score and height under dry conditions.
