Aster ericoides 'Monte Casino'

Aster ericoides 'Monte Casino'

Verbondsnieuws voor de Belgische Sierteelt 30(8): 403

A. ericoides is easy to propagate by cuttings 4-5 cm long. Mother plants should be selected during the flowering period, brought into the greenhouse at the end of November, and given supplementary lighting. The optimum rooting temperature is about 20 degrees C, and rooting takes place after about 14 days. The rooted plants can be planted in the open or under glass in mid-May, those under glass flowering during October.
