Asturian populations of maize. II. Numerical taxonomy based on quantitative traits

Asturian populations of maize. II. Numerical taxonomy based on quantitative traits

Anales de la Estacion Experimental de Aula Dei 18(3-4): 187-197

A classification of 66 populations collected in Asturias, northern Spain, is presented based on 18 plant, ear and grain characters. On the basis of cluster analysis of the data, 8 groups (consisting of respectively 23, 13, 14, 4, 1, 1, 2 and 8 populations) were established and are described. A dendrogram is presented reflecting the degree of relationship between the groups.
