Atmospheric dispersion of triallate and trifluralin vapors above a treated wheat field

Atmospheric dispersion of triallate and trifluralin vapors above a treated wheat field

Abstracts of papers, 192nd ACS National Meeting: AGRO 99

Vapour profiles of tri-allate and trifluralin were measured above a wheat field treated with the mixture of the 2 herbicides. The initial vapour losses of both herbicides during the first 5-day period, calculated on the basis of eddy dispersion coeff., represented about 50% of the total estimated losses, but were well below the actual losses from the treated field by a factor of at least 2.
