Atomic emission spectrometry of sodium with electrothermal metal microtube

Atomic emission spectrometry of sodium with electrothermal metal microtube

Fresenius' Zeitschrift fur Analytische Chemie 326(2): 132-134

Atomic emission spectrometry with an electrothermal molybdenum microtube has been investigated for sodium. The highest atomic emission signal was observed in pure argon atmosphere. Detection limit of sodium was 1.1 pg. The method was applied to the determination of sodium in biological samples.
