Atomization of vegetable oils in an airstream

Measurements were made to determine the effects of equipment, oil type and quality, and operational parameters on droplet size and spray deposition for cottonseed and soyabean oils and cottonseed oil emulsions used for aerial application of pesticides. A laser particle size analyser was used to measure droplets produced in a 190 km/h airstream.
