This report constitutes the result of a long term research study carried out over 6 years from 1 December 1981 to 31 July 1987 at the Audiovisual Unit (UAV) of the Regional Centre for Rural Development in the Atlantic Provinces (CARDER Atlantique), Benin. The study creates a workshop for mass media production, develops the use of media and audiovisual techniques in agricultural extension, and trains Benin workers in these methods.
