Aujeszky's disease in a dog

Nihon Juigaku Zasshi. Japanese Journal of Veterinary Science 50(1): 277-278

Aujeszky's disease in swine was found in Japan in 1981 and shown to be on the increase. Later, it was also found in cattle. In 1986 it was found in a moribund dog which had previously shown depression, salivation and pruritis. PM examination revealed petechial spots throughout the subcutis.
