Australian national parks. Wallabies and French cockerels - the same battle!

Australian national parks. Wallabies and French cockerels - the same battle!

Espaces (93): 42-45

A study of national parks in Australia is used to illustrate how conflicts can be created between tourism and the natural environment, and to indicate ways in which the objectives of tourism development can be reconciled with those of nature conservation. The aim is to demonstrate that countries throughout the world, even Australia, are facing the same problems and searching for ways of achieving equilibrium.
