The paraffining station at Arla's Kvibille cheese factory, Sweden, is described. It has an hourly capacity of 1000 x 4.4-kg Cheddar cheeses and can be operated by 1 worker with the aid of a programmable computer system supplied by Sweden's SATT Control AB. Stands containing the cheeses are transported to the station and placed on a hydraulic hoist platform.
