Automated wheat cultivar identification by computer aided high performance liquid chromatography

A method is described which involves extraction of gliadins with 55% propan-2-ol followed by reversed-phase HPLC. Using a computer, each chromatogram is then compared with the chromatograms of different varieties stored in a database.
