CSR-6 - a salt tolerant rice variety for coastal saline soils of Orissa and West Bengal

This paper was presented at the national seminar on 'Problems and management of coastal ecosystem'. CSR-6 is a medium tall, photosensitive rice suitable for cultivation in coastal saline soils prone to waterlogging and saline water inundation due to excessive rains.
