In field trials in Sao Paulo in 1976, sorghum Dekalb E-57, TEY 101 and Contibrasil 102 and maize HMD-7974, Centralmex and Piranao were given 0, 75 or 150 kg N as a combination of ammonium nitrate and diammonium phosphate, 0, 100 or 200 kg P as single superphosphate or a combination of single superphosphate and diammonium phosphate and 0, 75 or 150 kg K/ha as KCl.
