Computerized Delphi: an application to quota value determination in the Quebec dairy industry

Canadian Journal of Agricultural Economics 34(3): 417-431

In an effort to develop a substitute for the consensus panel, a Delphi experiment was conducted based on five simulated benchmark dairy farms in Quebec and communicated to an expert farmer panel by means of a microcomputer model. Farmers were asked to make decisions about quota purchase or sale at alternative quota prices given the detailed data base in the computer model.
