Forty samples of Sardinian honey were analysed by official FAO/WHO methods in order to check that they conformed with Italian Law No. 753 of 12 October 1982. Tabulated results show: place and date of production; contents of water, reducing sugars, sucrose, HMF, insoluble matter and ash; acidity; diastase number. With one exception, values were all within prescribed limits.D.G.
