Contribution to the diagnosis of species of the genus Dermacentor Koch from Central Asia according to the larval stage (Ixodidae)

Contribution to the diagnosis of species of the genus Dermacentor Koch from Central Asia according to the larval stage (Ixodidae)

Parazitologiya 20(2): 89-98

The combined use of qualitative and dimensional characters has provided a means for identifying the larvae of Central Asian species of Dermacentor. The shapes of the auricles and lateral expansions of the gnathosoma, the structure of the palps and the tarsus, the absolute sizes of the gnathosomal organs and the idiosomal setae and their ratio are used for separating species.
