Contribution to the knowledge of Argentine microsporidia. II. Presence of Vavraia sp. (Microsporea, Microsporida) in Smicridea sp. (Insecta, Trichoptera)

Various development stages of Vavraia were found in the fat tissue of larval stages of Smicridea from the locality of Tres Arroyos, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. They are described and figured.
