In years with high temp. and low rainfall, rusts (Puccinia spp.) were common on medicinal plants in the Fundulea area of Romania, and in years with abundant rainfall and low temp., Septoria, Cercospora, Sclerotinia and Erwinia spp. occurred more frequently.
