A comparative taxonomic treatment of the genus Eulinognathus is given. Redescriptions are provided for E. americanus from Ctenomys brasiliensis and C. talarum in Paraguay and E. torquatus from C. torquatus and C. mendocinus in Argentina. E. wernecki sp.n. is described from females and males taken from C. latro and C. tucumanus in Argentina, and E. patagonicus sp.n. from C. sericeus and Ctenomys sp. in Argentina.
