, : Contribution to the knowledge of the morphology and biology of Cotesia alius (Muesebeck, 1958) (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Microgastrinae). Revista Brasileira de Entomologia 31(3): 439-443

The morphology of adults of the braconid Cotesia alius is presented with illustrations. The larvae are also described and some data on their biology is given. This species is a larval parasitoid of the nymphalid Opsiphanes cassiae lucullus, which feeds on Musa sp.
