Contribution to the study of Tritrichomonas suis. Culture and identification of resistant forms
Axenic cultures of vegetative forms of T. suis were obtained in Dobell and Laidlaw medium supplemented with antibiotics. Thick-walled resistant forms with a smooth or cerebriform external membrane appeared under conditions unsuitable for multiplication. These in turn produced cystic forms which liberated round forms.
