Contribution to the study of a haploid apple plant (Malus pumila Mill.). Descriptive study and comparison with clones of different ploidy. II. Suitability for grafting

Contribution to the study of a haploid apple plant (Malus pumila Mill.). Descriptive study and comparison with clones of different ploidy. II. Suitability for grafting

Agronomie 6(7): 665-673

Comparative studies of grafting (1) haploids derived from Topred Delicious and (2) related diploid and tetraploid clones onto different rootstocks showed that there were no histological abnormalities in the stem structure of the haploid and that there was no incompatibility related to differences in ploidy between scion and stock.
