Contribution to the study of cereal aphids in Portugal

The systematics, morphology and biology of the main aphid species on cereals, mainly wheat, barley and oats, were studied in Portugal. The following species were examined: Anoecia corni, A. vagans, Aploneura lentisci, Diuraphis noxia, Israelaphis lambersi, Metopolophium dirhodum, Rhopalosiphum maidis, R. padi, Schizaphis graminum, Sitobion avenae and S. fragariae.
