Contribution to the study of morphometric and technological features of the fruit of Cornelian cherry (Cornus mas L.) in Polimlje and Moraca

Jugoslovensko Vocarstvo 21(1): 27-31

Among 7 forms from Moraca and one from Polimlje in Yugoslavia studied during 1981-83, yields were 18-60 kg/tree, being greatest in forms 2 and 6, and fruit weight 2.51-3.31 g. Form 6 had the heaviest fruit, while form 3 had the lightest stone. Flesh percentage was 73.81-89.95%, being greatest in form 3. Data are presented on the content of dry matter, acids, sugars and reducing sugars in the fruit.
