Twelve experimentally infected dogs were sampled 81 times; 68 samples were positive to neutralization of indirect immunofluorescence (NIFI) on faecal extracts, 61 to immunofluorescence of cultured pulmonary macrophages, and 47 to Shorr staining of pulmonary macrophages.
