Contribution to the study of the system Ca3(PO4)2-CaO-CaSO4

Contribution to the study of the system Ca3(PO4)2-CaO-CaSO4

Thermochimica Acta 120: 143-160

Phase diagrams of the ternary system Ca3(PO4)2-CaO-CaSO4 were studied by coupled TGA-TDA, X-ray diffraction and chemical analysis. Taking account of CaSO4 decomposition, two invariants are evident. The first invariant is a ternary eutectic at 1250 degrees C and the second invariant is a transient peritexy at 1280 degrees C.
