General characteristics and microscopic descriptions of the wood as well as common uses are given for Sclerolobium chrysophyllum, S. eriopetalum, S. hypoleucum, S. melanocarpum, S. subbullatum, Tachigalia alba, T. cavipes, T. myrmecophila, T. paniculata and T. plumbea.
