In a study (1980-83) of many forms from a natural population in this area of Yugoslavia, fruit weight was 7.6-16 g, shell weight 3.7-8.7 g and kernel weight 3.6-7.8 g. Kernel yield was 41-56.5%. The fruits were predominantly or slightly elongated, the shell being light and fairly easy to crack and the kernel mainly light yellow and of high quality.
