Contribution to the superintensive technique of pear cultivation

Cercetari Agronomice in Moldova 20(3): 110-114

The performance was studied of cultivars Clapp's Favourite, Williams' Bon Chretien, Beurre Bosc and Comtesse de Paris, all with Beurre Hardy interstocks, on 2 types of quince rootstock (planted at 4x1 m) and subjected to severe or moderate pruning or to no pruning, but light thinning.
