Results are reported of artificial inoculation studies, carried out on 41-245 varieties in 1976-80 and on 237-336 varieties in 1981-85, using an equal mixture of 4 Fusarium species in the first period and 4 isolates of F. graminearum in the second. Varieties of interest for breeding, with low values for and variation in degree of infection were F199, Alina, 33F1-22, Transilvania and Turda 195.
