A new species of Leucopis is described, the larvae of which were found to be predators of Aphis fabae on Arctium lappa in Perugia, Italy; the chamaemyiid is described from the adult male and female as L. fiorii sp. n. L. glyphinivora, the larvae of which preyed on Aphis fabae on various plants (Arctium lappa, Vicia faba and sunflower) and also on Thelaxes suberis on Quercus ilex, is recorded for the first time from these prey species and also for the first time in Italy.
