From plant association studies carried out in the Pietrele Rosii, Hasmas and Piule Mountains the following new associations were decribed: Jovibarbo soboliferae-Saxifragetum paniculatae and its new subassociation erysimetosum transsilvanici, Sileno zawadzkii-Caricetum rupestris and Oxytropido carpaticae-Onobrychidetum.
