Control of Stiellahme (grape stalk necrosis) with foliar fertilizers



Foliar fertilization Developments in Plant and Soil Sciences Vol 22: 231-241



The use of Mg-based foliar fertilizers was studied during 1982-84. MgSO4 was effective and could be used at high concentrations from the onset of maturity; at earlier stages only lower concentrations can be used. Wuxal Magnesia (78% MgO, 1% N and trace elements) was as effective and better tolerated by the plant at early stages. Fetrilon Combi (9% MgO and chelated trace elements) required as high a rate as possible.
