Field trials were conducted to evaluate various herbicides for use post-em. in Lotus corniculatus seed crops. The major weed species present were Anthemis cotula, Matricaria chamomilla Stellaria media, Brassica spp. and volunteer Trifolium repens. Scepter at 0.5-1.5 litres/ha was selective and gave effective control of annual weeds and volunteer T. repens, but not Carduus spp.
