Control of cereal production: private organization or public administration; The reasons for creating a Swiss Federation of Cereal Producers

Control of cereal production: private organization or public administration; The reasons for creating a Swiss Federation of Cereal Producers

Revue Suisse d' Agriculture 20(1): p.13; 14-15

Two articles focus on cereal producer cooperatives and government organizations in Switzerland. The first briefly considers the roles played by both public powers and private professional organizations in controlling and orienting cereal production, discussing the objectives of the planned Swiss Federation of Cereal Producers, and making a comparison between main activities in both the public and private sectors of the food and feed grain industry.
