Control of potato cyst nematodes (Globodera spp.) by aldicarb incorporated during stone-winding or rotavation

Control of potato cyst nematodes (Globodera spp.) by aldicarb incorporated during stone-winding or rotavation

1986 British Crop Protection Conference Pests and diseases Proceedings of a conference held at Brighton, England, 17-20 November, 1986 Vol 3: 975-979

The control of Globodera spp. on potato achieved with aldicarb during stone-windrowing was examined at 2 sandy loam sites in Yorkshire, UK in 1983. Initial G. pallida infestations were 28 and 79 eggs/soil. Aldicarb granules were released at one of 3 positions over the first separator web at 3.96 kg a.i./ha. Control achieved bu different rates of nematicide incorporated during stone-separation or rotavation was examined at 2 sites in eastern Scotland in 1985.
