Under greenhouse or laboratory conditions, increasing rates of norflurazon from 0.005 to 5.0 p.p.m. progressively decreased Elymus repens shoot FW and shoot length; at 5 p.p.m. norflurazon completely inhibited chlorophyll a + b and carotenoid synthesis.
